The Importance of choosing the correct egg |
|
After the design the next step is choosing the right egg to use to accomplish the look you are wanting. The choice of the correct size, shape, type of egg is essential to the whole project. There are times when a EMU egg is the best choice, yet others when the Rhea egg is best and yet they may be the same size, but the EMU egg is a dark green and the Rhea egg is a creamy color. Painting an EMU egg white can be a challenge, but painting the Rhea egg is a simple process. All egss used in a design are sealed by painting or a protective sealer. You might need to measure your figurine (if using one) to help you decide which egg will be tall enough or wide enough. Once the egg has been decided on you’ll need to decide if you should clean or mark the egg first. |
