The Importance of marking the egg.

Once you’ve decided on the egg it is time to mark the egg for placement of openings, lattice work, etc.

I use an egg marker “The Egger’s Helper”.  The egg is put in the marker and I decided to cut 3 ovals (used as openings or lattice).  I marked the egg for the ovals and the center bottom and center top (egg could be marked for half an egg, third of an egg, fourths, sixths, etc).  I then removed the egg from the marker.

I then marked the areas for the lattice above and down the sides of each oval.
